Long Version:

Well I was born in a small town, and I live in a small town, taught the fear of Jesus in a small town…How’s that John Mellencamp song go? This part, at least, I relate to.

I’m from a small town, married my high school sweetheart, and we have three children…two boys and a girl.

I accepted Christ when I was 13, at a Dallas Holm concert. My life was forever changed, and is still evolving as I go from glory to glory, and strength to strength, as Christ continues to transform me daily… “he wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being taught”. Isaiah 50:4.

I have been involved in the music ministry at our church since 1991, though I’ve been involved in music all my life. I currently serve as worship leader for the contemporary worship services at First Christian Church in Marshall, Illinois. 

As for my “professional” career, I sell television advertising at a CBS affiliate. My job consists of sales, and writing and producing television commercials. I love it…and intend to stay there until God releases me from that position.

I love leading worship…though I don’t have to be on stage to worship, for I can be in Wal-Mart and think of the goodness of God, and worship Him....
